Tamkeen Education Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Oman Journalist Association
Tamkeen Education is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oman Journalist Association (OJA) on 16 July 2024 in Al Rumais Hall, near the KNO School Al Rumais that will be opened in the near future.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the OJA by Salem Hamad Al-Jahwari, Deputy Chairman of OJA, and Naeema Al Shamsi, Principal of KNO School Al Rumais, under the aegis of the Tamkeen Group.
The agreement provides scholarships and exemption from registration fees for children of the members of the OJA. It also includes allocation of three scholarships for the Bachelor’s programme in the Alternative Pathway for the children of OJA members enrolled at KNO Schools.
Both parties will exchange resources to develop the educational process and benefit from their expertise in technical fields, including training courses related to media and education.
The OJA will also provide Tamkeen Group with opportunities to participate in local celebrations and events, allowing the Group to present promotional materials that reflect the group’s capabilities.
The OJA delegation availed the opportunity to view the inspiring, world-class, high-tech facilities of the upcoming KNO School Al Rumais.
The agreement demonstrates the ongoing cooperation and partnership between the Tamkeen Group and the OJA. The Association has previously signed memoranda of cooperation with the Group. These enabled OJA members to receive discounts at Tamkeen Tourism Group, which owns several tourist resorts in Oman. Our group supports the establishment of a media and journalistic training laboratory at OJA’s headquarters.
